Often the time between purchasing a chair and being able to actually sit on it is frustratingly long, so we have decided to put together a collection of chairs and sofas that have already been overhauled by our cabinet maker, re-upholstered and finished to the calico stage, so that they are ready for the final fabric. Not only does this mean that within a week of buying your chair or sofa, you will be able to enjoy the finished piece, but it also gives you a more accurate indication of the final cost.

To get the chair to the calico stage, it will have been assessed by the upholstery team, so the cost to finish it and the fabric requirement can be indicated on the ticket. There is no obligation to engage our upholsterers to top-cover your chair or sofa, but this information aims to give you an accurate idea of the likely cost.
