About The Blanchard Collective

"It's so wonderful to have the luxury of being able to view a wide range of interesting and eclectic decorative antiques in one easy-to-reach, accessible location."

Joanna Wood

The Blanchard Collective is one of the foremost groups of specialist dealers in England. From paintings, posters, porcelain and glass to furniture, sculpture, rugs and decorative accessories - from antique to contemporary. This will all be found in a 6,000 square feet purpose-built warehouse between the historic market towns of Hungerford and Marlborough.

It has been in the ownership of Garden Art Plus of Hungerford’s proprietors, Travers and Katie Nettleton, for some years, who understand well the needs and requirements of the design industry having themselves supplied the creative world and exhibited at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for many years.

Garden Art Plus itself is also a regular supplier of high-quality antique garden artefacts alongside more contemporary furniture to landscape architecture and garden design professionals as well as the astute private buyer.

Clients include The Kensington Roof Garden, Estelle Manor Hotel
and Daylesford.

“Wiltshire’s secret treasure trove has been an inspiration for me for years. It is always a joy to pop in and see the extraordinary array of unusual, often quirky and always useful pieces that can help start a collection, source a delicious present or finish a room."

Fiona Shelburne
Interior decorator.

We are easily accessible by train (Hungerford Station), or by road - only 10 minutes from junction 14 on the M4. Open Monday - Saturday 9.30 - 5.00 pm.

Interior designers and architects as well as the discerning private individual have over the years increasingly sourced the highest quality furniture, both antique and more contemporary, lighting, paintings and the eclectic from our 6,000 square foot warehouse an hour west of London.
The broad selection of diverse items on display, which stretches from the 18th to the 20th century and encompassing glass, lampshades and ceramics in addition to furniture and paintings, is a major attraction to the visitor.
“The breadth of styles, to suit a wide variety of schemes, under one roof is unparalleled. Where else, to the west of London, can one find such a broad collection of antiques and more contemporary pieces? Katie & I are proud to be a resource, both inside and outside the home, at our two Hungerford based businesses."
Travers Nettleton.

THE AREA

The Blanchard Collective is located on The Marlborough Downs an AONB, only an hour by train and close to exit 14 M4, between the historic market towns of Hungerford and Marlborough.

We have been a destination for professional and private buyers for many years and a stop-off for buyers on the way from The Cotswolds (M4) and The West Country (A303). There are many wonderful houses and historic sights nearby, including the Avebury Stones near Marlborough, Ashdowne House near Lambourne and Bowood near Calne.

"It is a wonderful area to visit, well worth booking an appointment or just dropping in. Plenty of parking and easy to combine a trip to Hungerford with welcoming eateries and other up-scale independent retailers."
