A George III   Cuban mahogany Chest of Drawers. A slightly taller than normal having the extra drawer.  It retains the original swan neck handles and ogee bracket feet with the chest being of excellent quality, colour and patination. Circa 1760. Normally chests of this period have three long and two short graduating drawers, but this example has an extra long drawer making it a very useful chest for storage.
